BOOKS THAT CHANGED MY LIFE

• Conversations with God by Neale Diamond Walsh

                 This book was a major turning point for me spiritually and introduced me to the idea that God is everywhere.

• The Vampire Chronicles (featuring Lestat the Vampire) by Anne Rice

                   My profound spiritual evolution seemed to run almost parallel to that of the main character in these books at times.

• Insomnia by Steven King

                     Once again another book that found it's way into my hands at a time that reflected a major piece of my life.  This book also helped me to understand and develop my ability of lucid dreaming.

Sweetened by sadness.

I have every reason to believe that great things lie ahead of me.  Many of life's most defining moments serve to set the stage for so much more.

Something is happening beneath the surface of my life.  Change is an active force in my life once again. This time where will I be led by it.

I am ready. . .Ready for something else, maybe even anything else, at this point.  Anxious to embrace a new way of living.  I  am confident that my future holds happiness and boundless hopes for the further future.

I can see so many things today that I was blinded to yesterday, and I feel as if everything I've seen before now has been through smoked glass.  And now each day only becomes clearer. Everything I look upon has such a vibrance, an almost percievable glow.

I have learned to appreciate all of my experiences; the good, the bad, and the ugly.  If I had not endured the sorrow, the hurt the anger and the fear all those years I would not understand and know what a truly wonderful thing it is to have hope.

After having such a wretched taste in my mouth for so long, everything good tastes so much sweeter.  My heartache has left me blessed in its wake.

Affiliation

Awhile ago I signed up with Online Hosting Network (OHN) for an affiliate website.  Frankly it was a waste of money (and I AM going to be gettin it back out of them), but the experience has lead me to learn more about being an affiliate.

There are so many places online that a person can affiliate sales for.  I personally am a big fan of Amazon.  I haven't made any money yet, but that is based solely on the fact that I have yet to even try except on my stupid OHN site (which doesn't even work).

One of the first major lessons I have learned about being an affiliate is that you shouldn't have to pay to be an affiliate.  If you are asked for money, chances are it's a scam.

The next best lesson I learned is that it's super easy to be an affiliate.  You can put product (or service) links on your blog or website easier than you can post your pictures to Facebook (lol).

I've still got lots of information to wade through and absorb, and I learn what I can when ever I get a spare minute to myself.

Which everyone knows are not many with a  5 year old and baby on the verge of walking.

Wow!! I actually got something done!

I'm feeling really good about my BeyondBasicGifts.com. I just signed on to RatePoint.com for a free account that will help me to build up a little bit of marketing for the site.
Also, I think I may give up on getting tables at the local markets. I was seeing a lot of interest but only 5% of the interest ever amounted to anything. I feel like I some of these people, the women in particular, would be more inclined to actually indulge those interests in a home-party setting.

I was unsure about the whole idea of doing Home-Party sales but after giving it more thought it only seems logical. Ideally, as I get a few of these parties under my belt, I plan to recruit some solid Reps to work under me. Home-Party sales is practically guaranteed to boost future catalog and website sales as well.

Right now I'm investing my energies into developing a solid plan and working out some of the financial kinks that are currently holding me back from actually doing anything right at the moment. 

With any luck (and I'm sure luck is on my side since i found 2 four leaf clovers in since my birthday on June 24), I will have that figured out as well and be on my way to regular profits!
